Attendees will travel to the North York neighborhood, a rapidly growing part of the city, to visit Flip Kitchen, a project led by the City to create the first “retail incubator,” followed by a stop at Toronto’s first Asian food hall—the Upper East Food Club. Participants will then head to Downsview Park to visit the Downsview Flea & Fresh Food Market, featuring an antique, flea, fresh and prepared food market with more than 400 small businesses. The park is also home to two urban farms—Fresh City Farm and Sundance Harvest, plus an urban orchard.
